Engraved title in French, Italian title slip, slip dedication, CXLIII pp., 1 board M / T. in frontipisce (Favorite, a beard of Tunis, the favorite horse of the author) and 22 boards in fine containing 119 figures representing different parts of the horse after the author’s drawings. Text French and Italian. Caps and jaw rubbed, qqs small foxing otherwise bel ex. “Beautiful printing and fine paper;. Pl are finely etched” Mennessier La Lance, I, 438, quoting this edition (with that of the modern 1743 Hall) as the rarest among the works of Eisenberg.
